Preparing for Retirement

We spend so much of our lives working and saving for our future.  We eventually get to a point where our retirement years are right around the corner.  It is not uncommon to ask if you are financially ready.  As we get closer to retirement age, it is normal to wonder if you have set aside enough to retire comfortably.  There is a great deal to think about as you prepare to retire; where do you want to live, what do you want to do, when should you start taking Social Security, are there options to your pension distributions, do you need to continue with life insurance?

It is questions like these you should be asking yourself.  Then it is imperative you find someone you are comfortable with to share your dreams, your goals and yes, your concerns for your retirement.  At MainStreet Investment Group, we work with clients every day who are in this exact stage of their lives—preparing to retire.  We’d love to help you.  Below are two case studies for Preparing for Retirement.
